Multi Drop Delivery Driver

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Loading and offloading of vehicles and general sortation of consignments

Accurate checking of items out for delivery on the HHT and reporting of any discrepancies to your line Manager

Complete vehicle checks and report any problems

Complete deliveries and collections throughout the day in a timely manner whilst adhering to company standards and health & safety procedures. Expectation of 60-100 per day dependent on route area.

End of day – return to depot, unload and labelling of non-deliveries and ensure all deliveries are accounted for on the HHT

Driver debrief with Manager on duty

Ensure vehicle is cleaned and refuelled for next day

Compliance with delivery and collection key performance indicators

Personal Specification

Previous experience of 60+ multi drop deliveries per day preferred but not essential

Excellent geographical knowledge of the area

Good time keeping

Excellent customer service skills

Confident in dealing with people on the phone and in person

Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative

Full driving licence

Experience with HHTs
