We work extremely hard and are very passionate about the work we do. We take a lot of pride in working to be the best logistics company in the South West, whilst having a lot of fun doing it.


Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Loading and offloading of vehicles and general sortation of consignments
  • Accurate checking of items out for delivery on the HHT and reporting of any discrepancies to your line Manager
  • Complete vehicle checks and report any problems
  • Complete deliveries and collections throughout the day in a timely manner whilst adhering to company standards and health & safety procedures. Expectation of 60-100 per day dependent on route area.
  • End of day – return to depot, unload and labelling of non-deliveries and ensure all deliveries are accounted for on the HHT
  • Driver debrief with Manager on duty
  • Ensure vehicle is cleaned and refuelled for next day
  • Compliance with delivery and collection key performance indicators

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • To ensure that speed limits are observed within bus depots and school premises.

  • any change to the licence which may affect their entitlement to drive is communicated to their line manager (e.g., Sickness, injury or conviction)
  •   their licence is made available for inspection in every 6-month period.

  • To report for work at the correct time and location with the correct equipment.
  •  To ensure that the company dress code is correctly always observed when on duty.
  •  Not to report for work when overtired or under the influence of alcohol or drugs (see Company policy for further details).
  •  To ensure that the relevant notification procedures are followed in the event of absence from work.
  •  To report all safety, security, driving and customer service incidents to the line manager as soon as possible.
  •  To report all incidents on the road, likely to affect the service as soon as it is safe to do so. Examples would be road closures, accidents, emergencies, and highway repairs.

  • The jobholder’s normal place of work on a day to day basis is in a predominately outdoor environment on vehicles that transport clients from and to various locations, and is required to work in a safe and efficient manner in all weather, traffic and road conditions.
