SEN School Driver Needed – Starting 11/03 for 2 Weeks

We’re looking for a reliable and compassionate driver to assist on a Special Educational Needs (SEN) contract. This role involves safely transporting students to and from school, ensuring a comfortable and supportive journey.

Start Date: 25th March

Duration: 2 weeks (term-time only)

Pay: £15.50 per hour (via umbrella)

We are looking for reliable and customer-focused drivers to operate a Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) service in Bristol. This service provides flexible, accessible transport to the local community.

Service codes ND, NC, XS, UB, LP, LQ - £1.75 for first item and 88p for items 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. Capped at 10 items

Service codes MP, CP, LW - £88p capped at 1 item

Collections during the route - £1.75 capped at 1 item

Customer collections - £1.75 for first item and 88p for items 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. Capped at 10 items

Anything over 100 miles per day is paid at 25ppm

We can arrange for the candidate:

1 - to rent a vehicle off us under a separate agreement

2 - to have use of a fuel card and pay it back

3 - to have use of a fuel card and not pay it back

Clean licences only!!!

If the candidate has their own vehicle then they must have GIT cover for 15k

Driver Opportunity in Cambridge

We are seeking four experienced drivers to join our team in the bus industry. This role requires D or D1 licences and offers a chance to contribute to a dynamic and customer-focused service. The position is full-time and ongoing, with a start date of 16th December 2024. The is a brand new DRT service on behalf of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority. Your job will be driving 16 seater low floor minibuses, following the map and picking and dropping off passengers.

This is a guaranteed 1 year bus service (likely will be 3 years with extensions), with guaranteed weekly hours of 35-40.

Responsibilities

As a valued member of our transport team, you will be responsible for safely operating vehicles, ensuring timely pick-up and drop-off of passengers, and maintaining a high level of customer service. You will also be expected to adhere to all relevant safety regulations and procedures. Flexibility in shift availability may be required to meet the service demands. Helping passengers on / off the bus when required.

Skills

Prospective candidates must possess a valid D1 or D licence and demonstrate a strong understanding of road safety and transport regulations. Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach are essential. Prior experience in a similar role within the bus industry is highly advantageous. Requires Enhanced DBS.
